At primary school in Bregana, Croatia, despite great efforts, they have not been successful in finding a teacher of the Slovenian language. School principal Igor Matijašić fears that the Slovene language lessons for a good 30 students will ultimately not be able to carry out. The Republic of Slovenia monitors the issue and does not have the competence for concrete measures.
