RIO DE JANEIRO, May 24 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed early Sunday morning after a passenger bus collided with a truck on a federal highway in Brazil's southeastern state of Minas Gerais, according to the Federal Highway Police.
A frontal collision between a bus and a cart left eight dead in the BR-251, in Santa Cruz de Salinas, in the north of Minas Gerais, on the morning of Sunday (24). The accident occurred around 05:55, in kilometers 230 of the highway, and resulted in a fire that hit both vehicles. According to the Federal Road Police (PRF), the eight confirmed deaths were of occupants of the bus, and five bodies were found stuck to the hardware of the two vehicles…
