LIMA (AP) — At least 14 people were killed and five injured when a minibus veered off the road on an Andean highway in northern Peru and plunged into a ravine, authorities said Friday.

The accident was reported by Peruvian TV. Two children were among the injured. The accident occurred on Thursday on the road between the departmental capital, Cajamarca, and Ciudad de Dios.
