Asda Shoppers Warned to Stop Using Product Immediately Due to Safety Recall
Regulators said the tent’s zip closure can trap users, and Asda told customers to return affected units for a full refund.
On Sunday, October 4, 2026, The Office for Product Safety and Standards issued a Product Recall for the Asda Kidz Pop Bear Tent due to an entrapment risk from the zip closure.
Regulators confirmed the item failed to meet the Toys Regulations 2011, prompting the action. Designed with a bear face and paws, the Bear Tent was sold for £8.40.
Affected units carry Barcode 5063717171192 and Product Code 506371717119.2026. Asda advised customers to stop using the Bear Tent immediately and return it to any store for a full refund.
Asda stated, "You do not need your receipt," for the refund process. Customers with questions regarding the Product Recall can contact Asda Customer Relations on 0330 053 0111.
Parents and carers have been warned to act without delay. This Product Recall follows earlier warnings issued to supermarket shoppers across the country regarding Product Safety and Standards.
