- During the third inning, Lasko collided head-first with right fielder Taylor while both players dove to catch a flyball, leaving him motionless before transport to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
- Dr. Jonathan Poggi performed the operation to address the fractured C6-C7 vertebra, while General Manager David Forst praised trainers Noah Huff and Audy Merrick and the Frisco RoughRiders for their on-field response.
- "We are encouraged by the reports and updates from Dr. Poggi," Forst said, with player development director Ed Sprague traveling to Frisco and counseling services available to teammates.
- Selected by the Athletics in the 2023 MLB Draft out of Rutgers, the 24-year-old outfielder has spent the 2026 season with the Double-A Midland RockHounds after prior stints in the Arizona Fall League and Triple-A Las Vegas.
