As of 1 April, it will be possible to search asylum-seekers' mobile phones

As from 1 April, the Swiss authorities will be able to control the mobile phones or computers of asylum seekers if this is the only way to establish their identity, nationality or itinerary. Parliament had demanded this change of practice.
