Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Now Officially Live on eShop for Switch and Switch 2

  • Nintendo announced the Switch versions during Pokémon Day festivities last week, with The Pokémon Company saying the releases let players relive the original adventure updated from the Advance-era Game Boy Advance remakes.
  • Priced at $20, Pokémon FireRed, game, and Pokémon LeafGreen, game, include the Sevii Islands and support the Pokémon Wireless Club for local trades, battles, and chat on Nintendo eShop.
  • Players won't need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to buy or play these games, which largely stick to the Game Boy Advance originals but add Game Chat for Nintendo Switch 2 users.
