VERBANIA – A real controversy is brewing over a cartoon in the "Diario Amico" (Friendly Diary), a school diary distributed in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region as part of an inclusive project by the Regional School Office. The diary features a drawing by a little girl depicting farm animals holding signs against animal exploitation and advocating plant-based foods. The image won a contest sponsored by the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola Community Foundation.
