The man of Chilean nationality and 53 years old arrived at a house early in the morning of September 19, in which he assaulted both women after a quarrel. As a result of the assault, one of the victims had to remain hospitalized due to the severity of the injuries.
An investigation by detectives from the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) led to the arrest of a 53-year-old man for his alleged involvement in an attack that left two women injured in the town of Tomé, Biobío Region. The operation was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Brigade (Bicrim), whose officers conducted various inquiries to clarify the events.
He attacked them with a sharp weapon when the victims shared in a home for the Fiestas Patrias. One of them suffered sharp wounds in the cervical area, shoulder and atrial region; while the other resulted in injuries to his arms and wrists.
