Argentina secures funding to start gas exports from ‘carbon bomb’
Argentina has secured $540 million from the Latin America Development Bank to finance a new pipeline. The pipeline would allow the country to export gas from the Patagonia's Vaca Muerta field. The move could contribute to pushing global temperature rise beyond 1.5C. Campaigners have described the project as a 'carbon bomb'
