Rome celebrates America 250 at Honor America Days parade; concert and fireworks tonight

Clear blue skies, comfortable temperatures and even the occasional breeze greeted the thousands strong who lined the streets of Rome for the parade on Saturday. They watched as hundreds more marched, played music, handed out candy and celebrated. More than 100 organizations joined this year's parade, which was organized by the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Rome.
