GLENWOOD — Staples-Motley senior Audrey Brownell is one step closer to defending her Class 1A State title. Brownell won the Section 6-1A title Thurday, Oct. 23, with a winning 18:24.0 to advance to state. Brownell led the Cardinals girls’ team to fourth.
