An investigation into an alleged metal pipe assault on Jelan Road in Apple Valley led to the arrests of Erik Pena, 47, and Nancy Bueno, 32. Authorities said Pena refused to leave the home, prompting deputies to obtain search and arrest warrants. The search yielded 15 firearms, ammunition and the suspected assault weapon.
