On Friday (August 8), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit overturned a lower judge's ruling. Previously, Washington District Judge James Boasberg filed criminal contempt charges against the Trump administration in April, finding that the administration's refusal to turn back a flight scheduled to deport illegal immigrants on March 15th was a willful disregard of the court's order and warranted sanctions.
