On Saturday, NASA published the image "Mostly Perseids" by Czech astronomer Jakub Koukal from the Valašské Meziříčí Observatory. The image shows a full-sky time-lapse recording from the nights around the maximum of the Perseid meteor shower, when a total of 1,706 meteors appeared in the sky.
