The high season has brought more moderate price increases to the rental market so far than previously.
While in previous years, apartment rentals in Budapest typically became more expensive during the summer, this year the season is shaping up quite differently.
According to the July data of the KSH–ingatlan.com rent index, there was a moderate increase in prices in the rental market compared to the peak season associated with the announcement of the higher education point limit: the monthly price increase was 1.4 percent nationwide and 1.3 percent in Budapest.
