'Anyone Who Puts Money Into This Deserves to Lose It All' — GTA 6 Leaker Doubles Down on Crypto Scheme, Threatens to Release Entire Story
The anonymous leaker says the full story mode will be released only if the CYBERLEEK token reaches a $30 million market cap.
Cyberleek resurfaced earlier this week with a 24-minute Grand Theft Auto gameplay video, threatening to release the full story mode build if their memecoin reaches a $30 million market cap.
The account went quiet in late August after withdrawing $250,000 in cryptocurrency, leading many to accuse the leaker of running a scam rather than protesting anti-consumer practices.
Cyberleek's website outlines tiered threats: at $2 million, gameplay showing Lucia in a bikini; at $4 million, full nudity; while demanding Take-Two produce physical discs and issue an apology.
Rockstar and parent company Take-Two subpoenaed Microsoft and Discord in August for user records related to the leaks, though no update has emerged on what information was handed over or investigation progress.
Fans have heavily criticized the scheme, with one person calling the leaker a "dork" and warning that "anyone who puts money into this deserves to lose it all.
