ACM Chairman Antony Catalano Steps Down After Assault Charges

On Friday, Antony Catalano stepped down as executive chairman of ACM, effective immediately, following his appearance in Melbourne Magistrates Court on criminal charges.

He faces charges of assault, false imprisonment and making threats to kill, according to ABC reporting; the woman sustained a fractured coccyx and was hospitalised.
Appearing by video link at Melbourne Magistrates Court, Catalano was granted bail on Friday and was not required to enter a plea at the early hearing stage.
The case is scheduled to return to court on May 11; Catalano took control of ACM in July 2019 after serving as CEO of Domain, the online property marketplace.
