Antoni Macierewicz, a Law and Justice MP and former Minister of National Defence, has been charged with the crime of disclosing classified information, the National Prosecutor's Office announced.
The Polish prosecutor's office has accused former Polish Defense Minister Anton Macierewicz of disclosing classified information during the investigation into the Smolensk disaster, RBC-Ukraine reported, citing Polish Radio. The charges relate to the period when Macierewicz served as chairman of the "Smolensk subcommittee" that studied the causes of the air crash in Smolensk on April 10, 2010.
