Antigua police link robbery patterns to crimes in Jamaica

ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Police say some robberies in Antigua and Barbuda appear similar to crimes committed elsewhere in the Caribbean, particularly Jamaica. Assistant Commissioner of Police Lisbon Michael made the observation on Saturday during an appearance on a local radio show. Referring to a recent armed robbery on All Saints Road, Michael said the firearm used was of a type not commonly seen in Antigua and Barbuda in recent years.
