The “Capote III” was attacked by orcas on the way to the Copa del Rey regatta. It is already the second attack on a sailboat within ten days.

Orcas attack a sailboat again off Mallorca. The attack lasted about five to ten minutes, with two orcas attacking the boat and two other animals watching. After the attack, the boat could no longer be steered.
It is not the first time that the sailing race has been disrupted by marine mammals. Although the boat is completely destroyed, experts assume that the orcas “just want to play.”
Although the crew was not injured, there may have been a moment of terror: Once again, there has been an orca attack on a boat in the Mediterranean Sea.
