Another Longtime Anchor is Bowing Out
The May book continues to bring us retirement announcements, just as it does every year. WBBH Anchor Kellie Burns has announced that she will be leaving the Ft. Myers station shortly after the May book ends. Burns joined the station in 1994 as a Reporter and working her way up to Anchor. Burns says that she plans to remain in the area and continue supporting local nonprofits after retirement from TV news.Here is her on-air announcement:
