Yet another Chicago City Council member is calling it quits. Southeast Side Alderman Susan Sadlowski Garza announced on Monday that she will not be seeking a third term.

She was the first member of the Chicago Teachers Union to be elected to the City Council and the first woman to represent the 10th Ward — a position she’s held since 2015.

Her announcement comes as 12 other alderman have either already left or said they will not be seeking reelection.
