Canarias today dismisses one of the great names that helped to cement the pillars of modern tourism in the region: Ángel Marrero Rivero, an unrepeatable figure in the development of hospitality and, especially, in the dignification of the art of professional cocktailmaking in the Canary Islands. His death leaves a deep void in Maspalomas and in the whole community that found in him a teacher, a leader and a friend.
