The world of Cameroonian music is mourning, after the disappearance of Angel Ebogo Emerent, one of the first musicians to have popularized and influenced the bikutsi, a Cameroonian musical rhythm. He died on the night from Wednesday 27 to Thursday 28 August at the age of 73, after a musical career that lasted for more than half a century. The announcement was made by his family.
