LDPR Kicks Out Senior Lawmaker for Clout Chasing
Andrei Svintsov, a State Duma lawmaker who in recent months has been the source of ominous headlines about internet restrictions in Russia, was expelled from the far-right Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) on Wednesday.
A deputy of the State Duma, Andrei Swintsov, was expelled from the LDPR, and this is mentioned on the party's website.
The deputy of the State Duma, the deputy head of the Information Policy Committee, Andrei Switsov, was expelled from the LDPR party, as reported by Commersant with reference to the deputy head of the Central Office of the Eleanor Cavshar Party.
The party was not satisfied with his repeated and contradictory comments about the blocking of Telegram.
