The plane crash in Letňany in early September, in which an ultralight pilot and another woman died, was probably caused by manipulation of the canopy and a dangerous maneuver during takeoff at an insufficient altitude. This is according to the findings of the AeroWeb server, which also states that the pilot was frightened by the slightly open cabin. However, an official investigation report is not yet available.
