The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BAFSA) has detected an outbreak of Influenza A (influenza) in a poultry farm in Asenovgrad. 80,000 laying hens are kept at the site. Around the affected livestock farm, a 3-kilometer protective zone is defined, which includes the town of Asenovgrad and the villages of Boyantsi, the municipality of Asenovgrad and Mominsko, the municipality of Sadovo.
