An archaeological excavation in Sasamón (Burgos) has made it possible to discover a Roman cuisine dated from the end of the 1st century BC to the beginning of the 1st century AD, a finding framed in the research project that has been carried out for a decade by the Institute of Archaeology of Mérida (IAM) and the University of Salamanca on the ancient city of Segisamo and its territory.
