The Kijkwijzer rating for the film Amsterdamned II has been adjusted following a complaint about alleged discrimination and scenes that are hostile to women. The complaint concerned, among other things, a scene in which a drag queen is refused by a taxi driver and a scene in which a man slaps a woman on the bottom. After review by the NICAM complaints committee, the film received an additional warning icon, RTL Nieuws reports.
The Kijkwijzer rating for the film "Amsterdamned II" has been adjusted. The thriller by director Dick Maas (74) now has an additional icon because the film allegedly contains discrimination. Distributor Splendid Film added the icon after the complaints committee of NICAM, the organization that oversees the Kijkwijzer system, reviewed the film.
