Cockroach Janta Party co-convener Ashutosh Ranka and party volunteers were allegedly assaulted by a group of people on August 21 while travelling to inspect a government school in the Bagru assembly constituency. The incident reportedly took place near Rampura Kanwarpura village. Ranka told HT that he and other CJP volunteers were attacked and alleged that one volunteer suffered a fractured arm.
