EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Americas Trail Blazers fell to the Aledo Bearcats, (3-2, 11-4) in the Elite Eight of the 2026 UIL Texas Baseball State playoffs in Midland, Texas on Thursday. Aledo Bearcats and Ladycats Advance In The Playoffs
The defending State Champion Aledo Bearcats baseball team defeated El Paso Americas 3-2 and 11-4 with a doubleheader sweep in the Class 5A Division 1 Regional Finals at Midland Legacy High School. The Bearcats now improve to 27-3 on the season as they advance to the state semifinals next week. Aledo will face either Melissa or McKinney North with the series schedule to be determined.
