Americans view Obama far more positively than Trump or Biden, CNN poll finds
A CNN/SSRS poll finds Obama with 57% favorability, well ahead of Trump at 34% and Biden at 30%.
A new CNN poll conducted by SSRS finds that 57% of Americans view President Barack Obama positively, far surpassing President Donald Trump's 34% favorability and President Joe Biden's 30%.
Since leaving office, Obama maintains broad popularity and near-universal backing within his own party, contrasting sharply with his successors' partisan divisions.
Asked which president they most admire, 30% named Obama and 19% named Trump; 64% of Democrats chose Obama, while 53% of Republicans selected Trump.
More than 4 in 10 adults younger than 30 hold no opinion of Bill Clinton or Bush, reflecting a generational shift in historical memory.
Conducted from May 7-31 among 2,480 adults, the SSRS survey included an explicit option for respondents to indicate they lack an opinion, accounting for growing disengagement from public figures.
