Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked US President Donald Trump for signing the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026, urging its provisions to be implemented “fully and swiftly” to increase pressure on Russia. He also paid tribute to the late Senator Lindsey Graham, after whom the legislation was named.
US President Trump has signed the law on the new sanctions of the United States against Russia. Previously, the Senate and the House of Representatives had voted in favour of the package with a cross-party majority.
