François Bayrou's draft budget, presented on 15 July, led to the lifting of shields on all sides, a project which proposes, among other things, the abolition of two public holidays, but which can still evolve and be the subject of compromise, according to the Minister of Public Accounts, Amélie de Montchalin.
On Monday, employers' organisations expressed their concern about a contribution that would be requested from companies, in return for the abolition of two public holidays proposed in the next budget.
François Bayrou's proposal to remove two public holidays, including the 8-May, to save money, continues to make a reaction. A ceremony of the Vel d'Hiv raid took place this Sunday in Le Mans. Members of Veterans Affairs associations are rebelled against this possibility.
