(Atlantic, Iowa)- The Atlantic Area Chamber Ambassadors, today (Wednesday), visited the open house for new murals that are painted on the old YMCA building. Ribbon Cutting held for ISU’s “Murals in Community” Project in Atlantic
(Atlantic) An open house and ribbon cutting was held today for ISU’s “Murals in Community” project in Atlantic. A large mural now spans the south and east sides of the old YMCA building at 703 E. 14th Street. Anna Segner, an Associate Teaching Professor at Iowa State University, was selected as an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fellow, a position that came with funding support. Ambassadors participate in spec building ribbon cutting
The Spencer Chamber Ambassadors helped celebrate the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Spencer Spec Building in the Spencer Technical Park South. The 30,000-square-foot space was made possible thanks to a partnership between the Iowa Lakes Corridor, city of Spencer, Clay County, SMU, Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, USDA and Iowa Area Development Group.
