4 Ways to Troubleshoot Your Amazon Fire TV Stick if Problems Arise
Amazon’s newest streaming stick adds Wi-Fi 6 and an Alexa-enabled remote while more than 10,000 buyers grabbed it last month.
Amazon's Fire TV Stick HD is currently 43 percent off, dropping the price to under $20. The device features Wi-Fi 6 support and includes an Alexa-enabled remote for voice-controlled navigation.
Plugging directly into any TVs HDMI port, the device supports Full HD streaming while maintaining a redesigned, ultra-thin profile roughly 30 percent slimmer than previous models.
Tech journalist at Pocket-lint Roger Fingas recommends power-cycling to resolve glitches, advising users to "unplug the power" for at least 30 seconds. He also suggests clearing Application Caches to improve performance.
In the last month, more than 10,000 people have purchased the device, which comes preinstalled with streaming services including Prime Video and Netflix. The device offers easy television upgrades.
Connectivity limits depend on cable types and ports used. Fingas warns, "You can't force 2.1 bandwidth through an old 2.0 wire," advising users to utilize HDMI 2.1 cables for optimal performance.
