Amazon's new Kindle Scribe and Kindle Scribe Colorsoft launch on December 10
Amazon's Kindle Scribe and first color model debut with enhanced writing feel, faster performance, and AI features, starting at $499.99 and $629.99 respectively.
- On December 10th, Amazon will make the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and Kindle Scribe available to buy, with no preorders offered for either device.
- To improve writing and reading, Amazon added texture-molded glass on an 11-inch glare-free display with a new quad-core chip and Oxide display technology, plus a rendering engine and shader tool for the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft.
- For creators and note-takers, the devices include AI note search and summaries, 'Story so Far' and 'Ask this Book' features, plus Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive integration.
- However, the $429.99 Scribe without a front light won't be available on December 10th and is scheduled for next year.
