CPSC Recalls Amazon Play Yards Over Infant Suffocation Risk
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled 70 play yards sold by Anna Queen on Amazon due to infant suffocation and entrapment risks violating safety standards.
On Nov. 20, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about 70 play yards sold on Amazon by Guangzhou Tinger Trading Co. Ltd. .
CPSC said the play yards violate the mandatory play yard standard and infants can become entrapped under the mattress or between the side and mattress, risking 'deadly suffocation'.
Consumers are instructed to disassemble the fabric cover from the play yards, cut up the cover and mattress pad, then email photos to tingerservice@outlook.com for a full refund from Anna Queen.
As of November 20, no incident or injuries had been reported in connection with the play yards, CPSC said; federal law prohibits reselling recalled items and the agency lists the recall as ongoing.
Separately, Romorgniz recalled around 1,980 dressers for tip-overs and entrapment, reflecting broader enforcement under the STURDY Act and the mandatory stability standard.
