Amazon’s new AI feature creates short recap videos with clips, dialogue, and narration to help viewers catch up before new seasons on Prime Video.
- Ahead of December 17th, 2025, Amazon Prime Video began beta testing Video Recaps on select English-language Prime Original series including Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Upload, Bosch, The Rig and Fallout.
- Designed to help viewers quickly catch up, Prime Video's AI analyzes a season’s key plot points and character arcs, accessible via a recap button when navigating to the next season.
- Prime Video's system combines clips, music and a synthesized narrator, selecting key video clips and stitching them with dialogue, sound effects, and AI‑generated voiceover narration; a blog post photo shows Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season three recap running three minutes.
