The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has given a big jolt to leading e-commerce companies. It has imposed heavy fines on Amazon, Flipkart and JioMart. The CCPA has imposed a fine of Rs. 10 lakh each on Amazon and Flipkart for selling unregistered pesticides, while it has imposed a fine of Rs. 5 lakh each on JioMart.
