Amateur Baseball: Litchfield keeps its season alive

LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield Blues have another crack to make the Class C state amateur baseball tournament. Litchfield advanced to the third-place game in Region 6C with a 5-1 victory over the St. Nicholas Nicks Friday at Optimist Park. The Blues will play the Dassel-Cokato Saints for the region’s final state spot at 2 p.m. Saturday back at Optimist Park.
