The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has fined a number of traders at Tudu GH cent;450 each for failing to comply with a directive to suspend trading during the National Sanitation Day exercise. The traders were issued on-the-spot fines after AMA enforcement officers found them conducting business while the nationwide clean-up exercise was in progress.
