EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) - The FDA has announced approval of a new blood test that can diagnose Alzheimer's Disease in patients. The Development Manager for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, Aaron Zook, says this expands access to health care because other tests for the disease included expensive image testing, invasive spinal taps and autopsies.
