Bishop Jerzy Mazur of Ełk will ordain a seminarian from Togo, Roger Siliade, on Friday, the Ełk seminary announced. The Ełk Curia wants Father Roger to work in Masuria after his ordination, but it is unclear whether this will be possible due to formal reasons. The spokesman for the Ełk Curia, Canon Dr. Marcin Maczan, told the Polish Press Agency (PAP) that Roger Siliade is the only alumnus ordained in the Ełk diocese.
