Alton Park Route Could Be Detour While Riverwalk To St. Elmo Is Closed

Portion of Riverwalk to temporarily close for Erlanger Park construction

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Chattanooga’s Public Works Department has announced the upcoming closure of a portion of the Riverwalk. Starting July 14, 2025,  a  portion of the Riverwalk near Erlanger Park will remain closed through April 2026 for construction.
