Slovenian athlete Klara Lukan was 12th in the 10 km road race in Valencia, and was the best European. With a time of 31 minutes and eight seconds, she missed her national record by three seconds, but improved the Slovenian record for the five kilometers by three seconds with a time of 15 minutes and 22 seconds.
