- Amid allegations that gazetted versions differed from recorded proceedings, Management of the National Assembly noted alleged discrepancies between votes and proceedings of the parliament and gazetted versions of the passed tax Acts, responding to public calls for transparency.
- Only a few formal requests for Certified True Copies were made and processed, while the Clerk of the National Assembly coordinates with the Federal Government printing press for publication.
- To strengthen processes, the National Assembly will review procedures for transmission and gazetting of bills and route all presidential assent bills through presidential liaison officers.
- On Thursday the Assembly said gazettes are expected to be ready on Thursday, and prompt publication of certified Acts is intended to address controversy and enable verification.
