As reported by Warsaw/Modlin Airport, due to a failure of the meteorological system, all departures and arrivals have been temporarily suspended. Work is currently underway to restore the functionality of the airport.
The AWOS system has failed at Warsaw-Modlin Airport. As a result, all arrivals and departures have been temporarily suspended. It took a total of about six hours to resolve the issue. After that time, the airport resumed normal operations.
The failure of the meteorological system caused a temporary suspension of the Warsaw-Modlin airport. As reported in the announcement, due to the lack of required meteorological data, all arrivals and departures were canceled.

After almost six hours, the Warsaw/Modlin airport has been restored to service. The reason for the suspension of all arrivals and departures was a failure of the AWOS meteorological system. Some arrivals were redirected, others were delayed. Passengers on the flight to Naples are scheduled to depart at 20:30 instead of 14:10. It is not yet known how much the flight to Tirana, which was supposed to take off at 19:45, will be delayed.
