Ali Çınar, a 58-year-old journalist who had worked in Kocaeli for many years, passed away during surgery for heart and diabetes problems. A father of five, Çınar was laid to rest in Körfez Asri Cemetery after a funeral prayer held at Körfez Çarşı Mosque.
